Problem Solving for Climbers
Indoors
Any climber/ mountaineer will find value in being equipped to cope with certain eventualities that may occur and be as self reliant as possible. We will cover the skills for dealing with common problems and get you into the mindset of being able to foresee, avoid and problem solve It will show you some of the amazing things you can do with a couple of lengths of 6mm cord. Helping build your skills, improve your confidence and all the while having a great deal of fun to.
Course Content:
Tying of a belay plate.
Assisted & unassisted hoists.
Escaping the system.
Prusiking.
Abseiling past a knot.
Lowering past a knot.
Outdoors
We utilise venues which allow practical working platforms and although in single pitch format do allow us to start to look at the techniques required on a multi pitch route.

Multiple abseil retreats.
Assisting a injured climber.
Securing a injured climber.
