Spanish Rock Climbing

We have access to cliffs of all lengths and angles and can climb in the sun or shade depending on how hot it is. April is as reliable as you can possibly get with the weather and it usually has excellent warm, dry conditions. You can be climbing in shorts and T-shirt everyday. Check out the Rock Fax guide to Costa Blanca.

The courses are open to all abilities. At Leading Edge we ensure ratios are kept really low so we are able to individualise the day to each person. If you just want to see how well you can climb then that's great, if you want to learn or refine your leading thats also great. Most of the focus will be on improving technique and composure at single pitch venues. We will however be able to offer a multi pitch day with the opportunity of a big mountaineering day out (e.g. A fantastic 13 pitch hard severe up Puig Campana).

Our luxury accommodation is in a stunning, fully equipped, spacious villa with two swimming pools in Altea Hills near Calpe, which is about 45mins north of Alicante airport.

The local town is 5 minutes drive away and has lovely bars and restaurant, a local bakery, small supermarket and pharmacy. The rooms are 2:1 max, sharing with one other same sex person on the course.

The week will be an excellent start to the climbing season and will have you super keen and ready for a summer of climbing back in the UK.
